My name is Emilie and I am the one who will be in touch with you! 😊 I am originally from the Greater Montreal Area, but I also studied and worked in Europe and the Middle East.

When my husband and I started packing our baby girl’s clothes to return to Canada, I truly realized the part I played in our culture of overconsumption… Like many, I had been tempted by fast fashion retailers, who encourage us to continuously buy more – despite the negative impact on the environment and our wallet. So, we decided to keep only the essentials before travelling back.

Guess what? We left most stuff behind.

Then, I simply started consuming differently: a few mix & match pieces that make numerous outfits, loose fitting clothes that last many seasons, grow-with-me clothing, high-quality items that are more durable, and even second-hand items… Without ever compromising on style.

And that’s how BBsouk was born. An eco-chic market, a more eco-responsible and economical way of consuming, without compromise.
